Fire Island Dance Festival 15, produced by and benefiting Dancers Responding to AIDS raised $246,000 for the cause. The stunning event returned for it's fifteenth year and the sold out weekend performances showcased some of dance's finest including, Keigwin + Company, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Mary Carmen Catoya and Rolando Sarabia-principles at Miami City Ballet, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Armitage Gone! Dance, Danny Tidwell, Jodi Melnick, DRA Rising Star- Kamilah Shah, Feliciano Dance Company, ZviDance and a piece d'occasion by Christopher Huggins. Since its inception in 1995, The Fire Island Dance Festival has raised a total of $1,950,000 for Dancers Responding to AIDS, a fundraising program of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.
